A Message About Time

GC: Hello *.

Me: Hello.

GC: Are you ready for another message?

Me: Yes, I think so. I’m going to record this one. The other one was hard for me to recall, and I still haven’t written it.

GC: That is OK you may record as you wish.

The message we have today is of time. Time is not what it seems. Time is the joining of two different realities. The higher reality which steps down to a lower reality. You can think of it as your spirit coming into your body and thus time begins.

Time in other places is not experienced like this. You must understand that in the beyond, existence is fundamentally different. Many of the stories which are told of those humans who have been in the beyond, are framed in terms of time on earth or in the material. (here for example we are talking about stories such as Rip Van Winkle, or Gwynn ap Nudd, and others who journey to the otherworld and return finding much time, or almost none, has passed in the material world.) This is not correct, but a convenience for the telling (of the story) within the material.

It is for this reason that time travels differently for those who have experienced a conjunction with other higher realms. Or lower realms as the case may be.

Time may seem to pass slower or faster, but this is relative to the person's return to the material. Time does not travel, faster or slower in these realms, but rather is experienced differently. Therefore the rest we spoke of before, the rest that occurs at death, is not a matter of time that can be counted.

If you think of an hourglass, the sands slowly falling downward through the thin, narrow tube. The space on one side widens (and) the space in the other side contracts. This is similar to the difference that occurs in the 'time' of (the) beyond.

Similar to colors refracted as in a rainbow. The colors are perceived differently based on the angle of the light that shines through the atmosphere. And thus different colors are highlighted out of the same light. This too is similar to the time that passes differently in the beyond and in the higher realms.

It is for this reason and others that individuals often struggle with communication with the beyond. And the beyond struggles to communicate to the material. The distortion based on time can be problematic.

Me: Well, I would like to ask then --

GC: Hold your questions. We will have time for that later.

Time is something you must seek to understand differently if you are to communicate with the beyond. A dream can occur and appear to last for hours but in earth time last mere seconds. How did the second stretch into hours? It’s because time is not the same. And to consider it as moving slower or moving faster is simply a convenience for relating such experiences in the material. Having dreamed for an hour in the dream, but only a few seconds in the world, when you awake does it mean you are an hour older, or only a minute older?

These are things that must be meditated upon, and upon which you must seek to achieve a change in perspective and experience. In understanding. And so doing you will more easily be able to communicate with the other side. Meditation is a key practice in learning this. Much of man’s time is spent thinking. Experiencing something that is not real. Something that is within the mind. Preoccupying itself. To still the mind is to still the flow of time. Much as sleeping does. This is something that must be studied and mastered. You may ask questions now.

Me: I don’t think I have any.

GC: Very well. We will come again soon. Farewell.

NOTE
This message was received two days ago. Today I came across a video which I feel is a synchronicity. I transcribe it here.

"There is no time. Period. Have you ever been to the past? Or the future? No. You think of the past, now. Have you ever actually been to the place called the past that you think about? No. It's not possible. Nobody's ever been there. It's a belief. It's just a belief that we all take for granted. Is it your experience that the now is moving along a line of time from the past to the future. Is the now moving? And how long does the now last? It doesn't. It doesn't last. The now doesn't last in time. There is no time for the now to last in. Now is not a moment sandwiched between these vast spaces. There is no vast space outside of the now. The now is not a moment. These are new age ideas. They have nothing to do with truth or reality that the now is not a moment. Now is eternity. The ever present, not the everlasting. But when that now is filtered through the limitations of the mind. It appears as time. The mind is like a prison which refracts the now which has no dimension, into a single dimension of time."
